loads of friends have been visiting Venice
I appreciate them doing so
and told me how beautiful it is the dark squims of Venice
the ladies dressed with water
and the biennale of course with people looking for something that isn't there

oh dear, oh dear, the last dodo must have been eaten
and in the Britannica no word on Vincenzo Capello
I appreciate them doing so
inviting us to kill the thing we do not want to see
as one of the ladies sang dressed with modern art
