The delivery of six pounds of shit, hard and likewise as fresh and smoothe a mass as the concrete floor in the basement of the building where they had found the package, took 24 hours.
It began with a tooth complex and the dentist knowing nothing better than a random set of six days of medical treatment lined up with one or other antibiotic drug. An abcess and all of a sudden nothing else seems valuable or evident.
I took the pills, three pills a day. I never ever had been on an antibiotic drug before and this for at least fifty years. Up to that day medical industry had failed to make me a victim of its selfmade purpose. I swallowed the pills, three pills a day, and the tooth complex indeed became less urgent. From the ta ta soon again came more eloquent words and on the third day it made a hard shit. I actually had to bring in elephants and forgotten army forces to get the thing out. On the fifth day no force whatsoever. Due to the antibiotic drug I had lost the power to deliver. How to shit had become a theory and as most theories just as complex as useless.
On the sixth day the practical problem got solved, as I turned for some reason already there to Dr. Vogel and his experience with the nature of things.

Three hours later, after having met Sue Spade, Sue had mentioned The Book of Changes, also known as I Ching, and the book recently had given her a rather particular advice, I take a sheet of paper and mark six lines,

nothing else, no other reason but to make language clear. The solid lines mark a strong, the broken lines a weak one, the x tunes the important lines, those able to move and make something different. The I Ching Hexagram Lookup leads to Gen and Dui, Gen or Ken, which has the mountain as its image, Dui or Twei the lake beneath that mountain. The sign turns up to be N°41, Decrease. The pointed lines give:

top line There are many different ways to acquire wealth, but the highest and most satisfying way is by increasing the collective good. For supremely succesful and enlightened people, their increases cause no decreases for others. They have learned to advance by generating more for all - not by maneuvering slickly to see that others get less than they do. The prosperity of such people is the good fortune of all of humankind.

And so it goes and goes.

With both fourth and top line active (and thus changing in its opposite) the indicated hexagram, SOEN or SEN, known as decrease, moves on & changes in T'AI, or peace, first of all I guess meant as a state of mind, but as far as Richard Wilhelm is concerned, who accomplished a major translation of the I Ching, this sign, having Earth above Heaven

points to the perfect unity of heaven and earth. The elleventh hexagram is also known as the heaven on earth principle.
The harmony of this hexagram proceeds from the position of both signs, earth (the broken ligns) and heaven (the full ligns). This position (heaven beneath earth) creates harmony.
